At the Port of Virginia, The CrossGlobe Group has partnered with the Virginia Port Authority (VPA) and Virginia International Terminals (VIT) to manage world-class distribution facilities in Newport News Marine Terminal, Norfolk International Terminal and immediately outside Portsmouth Marine Terminal.
This distribution center is strategically located on dock at Norfolk International Terminals (NIT) and offers cost effective and expedited service to and from the port and their facilities. At this new facility, CrossGlobe has the capacity to efficiently handle all types of cargo including break bulk.
NIT is the Port of Virginia's largest terminal and is home to fourteen of the biggest, most efficient cranes in the world, capable of handling the "ships of tomorrow". The main channel leading to the terminal is 50ft deep and the Virginia Port Authority has the authorization to dredge to 55 feet when needed.Facts Norfolk, VA
